PASSOVER

A time you can spend with family, eat delicious food, learn Torah, and just appreciate Hashem

Passover is a time for reminding ourselves of what Hashem has done for us. Hashem has protected us for many years and he would do anything to protect the Jewish people. In the Exodus, when the Jewish people left Egypt, Hashem inflicted ten plagues on the Egyptians to show his strength to show us he is real and he is going to protect us. On Passover we celebrate the fact that Hashem has freed us from Egypt. Over Passover we have Yom Tov and we also do not eat bread. We do not eat bread because we left Egypt in such a hurry we did not wait for the bread to rise.
